Goodbye to Youth

Sandi and I just moved this summer. I survived the first two years of school and passed both my COMLEX and USMLE Step1 board exams. Since I no longer go to class everyday. She thought it would be nice to be closer to work and live in an apartment complex that accepts dogs. Yes, I said it. A Dog! Sandi is currently looking for thoughts and ideas on breeds and all that jazz and is super excited about getting a dog when we finish unpacking all our stuff in our new place.

That being said, with the move does come some remorse. We no longer live in downtown Des Moines, we've moved to a suburb called Johnston, which also means we are no longer a part of the downtown Church group and we will be attending a group much closer to where we moved.

We are going to miss our callings and the time we had to work with the youth. It was definitely challenging, but very rewarding. I thought I'd share a few photos from our times.

Carving pumpkins
Sunday evening fireside
Building snowman and igloo
Camping at Springbrook park and skeet shooting
Root beer floats
Roasting marshmallows at camp
Paddle boats at Gray's Lake
Girls Camp
Decorating cookies for Christmas caroling
Trying to bite an apple on a string. Very funny to watch

A BIG thank you to Pedro, Juan, Francisco, Tyler, Levi, Hyrum, Nephi, Moroni, Tim, Billy, Buddy, Dylan, Zorwo, Sukoza, Jerry, Joseph, Riziki, Mina, Myracle, Angel, Brooklyn, Ashley, and Cheyenne. You are the BEST!
