Whew, it is finally summer

whew/hyo͞o/ (Exclamation) Used to express surprise, relief, or a feeling of being very hot or tired. It has been a really really busy past school year. Writing about what was going on wasn't too high on my todo list. The second year of medical school was quite busy with systems classes, surgical techniques, but the culmination of it all is board exam. I just finished COMLEX and USMLE Step 1 last week. We finished school May 21st and from then till July 4th I spent 6 days a week in the library at school for roughly 12+ hours a day just studying and trying to relearn everything I learned in the passed two years. Brutal! I'm so glad that is over. I read this book twice in the last two months and did over 3000+ practice questions.
As soon as my test was done, I drove to Boy Scout camp and spent a couple days with the boys. Sandi spent the week at girl scout camp. Now I get to relax, sleep in, and enjoy the last couple weeks before I start rotating through hospitals. I'll try to catch up and post some pictures from our exploits over the past year. Thanksgiving at Lake of the Ozarks, Christmas in Portland, scouting, youth, it has been quite the ride.
